CLARKSON STRUGGLES IN LOSS AGAINST SLU

Canton, NY – Kate Vlahakis scored 14 points to lead St. Lawrence as the Saints defeated the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team 66-29 in an Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) game Tuesday night at Burkman Gymnasium.

The Golden Knights started off on the right track, trailing by just a single point midway through the first half, but the Saints ended the half on a 24-9 run to take a 16-point advantage at the end of the half. St. Lawrence continued to hold down the Clarkson offense in the second half, holding the Golden Knights to just 4-for-28 from the floor.

Erika Fritjofson (East Barre, VT) led the Golden Knights with seven points, while Linda Fernandez (Kennebunkport, ME) added four points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals.
