The Golden Knights, at 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the Liberty League having won three straight, will look to firm up their spot in the upper crust of the conference standings. St. Lawrence has lost only once so far in the league at 7-1, but matches Clarkson's overall record at 12-4, winners of their last four games. The teams account for two of the top three spots in the Liberty League standings.

Despite playing with just seven players for the last three games due to injuries, Clarkson's offensive output has gone up. The Knights lead the Liberty League in scoring at 74.0 points per game, averaging 82.3 points over the last three contests. The Knights also lead the league in field goal percentage (42.1%), 3-point field goal percentage (34.3%) and assists (15.4 apg). St. Lawrence is no slouch on offense either, ranking second in the league in scoring (69.9 ppg), second in 3-pointers made (6.2 per game), free throw percentage (75.9%) and margin of victory (+10.3 ppg).

With players injured, the Knights scoring has become a little more dense, and Clarkson has two of the league's top scorers in junior Ashley Loggins and Cara Manfredi. Loggins ranks second in scoring (17.8 ppg) and field goal percentage (45.0%), while Manfredi is third at 17.2 ppg. Manfredi has been hot from the outside lately with 13 3-pointers in the last three games in which she has averaged 26.3 ppg. The senior guard leads the conference and is ranked in the top 10 nationally in 3-pointers made with 49.

St. Lawrence has three players that rank in the top 15 in the Liberty League in scoring, led by Kara McDuffee at 13.1 ppg. McDuffee is averaging a double-double, producing 11.8 rebounds per contest as well. The Saints rank second in the league in free throw shooting thanks to McDuffee's 80.0% from the line, which is topped by another frequent shooter in Allison Cady, who is shooting 81.0%. Cady ranks 11th in the conference in scoring at 12.5 ppg, and Caroline Dalton serves as the team's third scoring option at 11.5 points per contest. Lauren Quattrocchi distributes the ball to the team's scorers and ranks second in the conference in assists (4.6 apg), also functioning as a strong on the ball defender with 2.4 steals per contest.
