With half the conference season left to play, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team will hit the road looking to move up the Liberty League standings. The Golden Knights will first travel to Union for a 4:00 pm game on Friday afternoon, before heading to RPI for a 4:00 pm game on Saturday.

Clarkson holds a 7-4-1 overall record and a 0-3-1 Liberty League mark. One more win for Clarkson will ensure that the Green and Gold will finish at least .500 for the first time since 2011 and just the second time since 1992. Clarkson is third in the Liberty League in offense, averaging 2.167 goals per game.

Summer Gillespie leads the team with 16 points on six goals and four assists. She is third in the league in both points and goals and is tied for fifth in assists. Lauren Flynn also appears on the top ten lists for points and goals with her 12 points putting her in a tie for fifth and her five goals tying her for fourth. Nikki Carfi is tied for second in assists with a team-leading five helpers. Goalkeeper Anna Demasi is third in the league in saves per game with 4.58.

Union holds a 6-3-3 overall record and a 2-2-0 Liberty League record which puts the Dutchwomen in the fourth and final Liberty League playoff spot. Union comes into the weekend riding a four game winning streak, including consecutive 1-0 wins over conference foes RPI and Bard. Union is giving up just .58 goals per game which is the third best rate in the league. Breana Derella leads the team with 13 points, the fourth best total in the Liberty League. She has three game-winning goals this season. Clarkson is 0-20-2 all-time against Union, but did play the Dutchwomen to a 0-0 draw last season.

RPI has a 5-5-4 record overall and is 1-2-1 in conference. The Engineers won their first conference game by defeating Bard 1-0, but are winless in their last four games since with a 0-2-2 record and have not scored in that span. RPI has struggled defensively this season, allowing a league-high 1.43 goals per game. It is one of only two teams in the league that have been outscored this season, with the Engineers scoring 12 goals, but allowing 20. Clarkson has an all-time record of 10-19-3 against RPI. RPI has won five straight games between the teams, with the last Clarkson victory coming in 2009.
