CU Women's Basketball Preview - vs. St. Lawrence University (3/14)

The final home game of an odd and turbulent 2021 season comes on Sunday afternoon for the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team as the Golden Knights will host St. Lawrence University at 1:30 pm at Alumni Gymnasium.

The Series: The middle two games of this year's matchup were close contests, but the first and fourth games, both on Clarkson's home floor, saw the Knights claim double-digit victories. St. Lawrence won the second game of the series, which also occurred at Alumni Gymnasium.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-3): Graduate student Molly Stewart scored her 1000th career point against St. Lawrence on Tuesday and has been particularly effective against the Saints this year. Averaging 9.0 points per game overall, Stewart has produced 15.8 points per game against the Saints, shooting 25-for-48 with nine 3-pointers. Hannah Earl has posted a pair of double-doubles and averages 12.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game against St. Lawrence this year, while Carly Assimon is scoring 10.5 points per game against the Saints and 4.8 points per contest versus other teams. Rachel Marion has also contributed in various ways against St. Lawrence, scoring 11 points in the first win, making seven steals in the third game, and grabbing 10 rebounds in the fourth contest.
