The Series: St. Lawrence downed the Golden Knights by 10 in the first meeting of the season back in early December. Clarkson had a 19-rebound deficit, but also committed only five turnovers while forcing the Saints into 20 miscues.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-9, 3-7 Liberty League): A dry spell of points two weeks ago from Cassidy Dumont did not last long, as the sophomore guard has averaged 23.3 points per game over her last four contests, which included a season-high 29 against Bard on Friday and also 26 versus William Smith the previous Friday. She is shooting 36.0% from the 3-point line and 93.3% from the free throw line for the season. First-year collegian Raelin Burns has steadily improved her scoring average to 8.4 points per game, including 12.0 ppg over her last four contests. In the 2022 portion of the schedule, Burns averaged just 5.0 ppg, but in nine games of 2023 she has produced 11.0 ppg.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (9-7, 5-5 Liberty League): Both the Saints and Golden Knights have worse records in the conference than they appear, as each team will likely be rewarded with an extra victory due to cancellations with Bard College in early January, so St. Lawrence it currently in fourth place in the conference standings. Jackie Malley has been a key part of the Saints' success, averaging 11.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, as well as a conference-leading 48 3-pointers made at a rate of 37.8%. Olivia Middleton is just behind in scoring at 10.9 ppg, while also contributing to the offense with 4.1 assists per game. Olivia Barringer is also chipping in 6.8 points and 7.4 rebounds, shooting 50.7% from the floor.
