The Series: The two teams faced one another seven times during the 2020-21 COVID season, with Clarkson winning four of the seven games. However, St. Lawrence won the final two of that shortened campaign and have now won six straight against the Knights.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-5, 0-2 Liberty League): Junior Cassidy Dumont leads the team with 15.9 points per game, which ranks second in the conference. Last season, Dumont scored 20 in the first meeting against the Saints, but was held to just six in the second contest of the year, the only time in the final 11 games of 2022-23 where she was held to single digits and one of only three games in that stretch when she was limited to less than 20 points. Overall, Clarkson has been in a bit of an offensive slump. After shooting 36.5% or better from the floor in the first four games, the Knights have been held to less than 30% in the last three. Oddly, Clarkson has shot better from beyond the arc than inside it during the past three games.

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (1-5, 1-1 Liberty League): First-year collegian Elizabeth Flynn has averaged nearly a double-double in her first six games, but what has kept her short is scoring. Flynn has dominated the boards all season, leading the Liberty League in offensive rebounding (3.7 orpg) and defensive rebounding (10.0 drpg), with the latter figure better than any other conference player's total rebounding average. In the past three games, Flynn has averaged 16.3 rebounds per contest. Jackie Malley and Norah Niesz have combined for 23 3-pointers and rank second and third, respectively, in scoring average for St. Lawrence.
