Goals from two first year defenseman in the second period set the Knights up for a 4-1 win over Michigan Tech in front of 3109 at MacInnes Arena.

After a scoreless first period in which the Huskies held a 9 to 5 shot advantage, the Knights opened the scoring when

Michigan Tech would answer back quickly on the Power Play, when Stiven Sardarian would make it 1-1 at 6:43.

Then late in the period, another first year defense would get his first goal of his college career, when
Jack Sparkes would make it 2-1 at 18:27.

In the third period, the Huskies would get two power play chances but a shorthanded goal from
Garrett Dahm, his 2nd of the year, would put the Knights up 3-1 at 11:11.  Down 2 the Huskies elected to pull their goalie with just over 2 minutes left.  The Knights would get several critical clears and then at 19:14
Shawn O'Donnell would ice it with an empty net goal and his first as a Golden Knight.

Ethan Lannenagger would make 31 saves for his 4th win of the season.  Clarkson was 0 for 1 with the power play and killed off 3 of 4 chances for the Huskies.
