Playoff Scenarios: A simple solution is available for the Golden Knights: win and in. However, there are still other ways that the Knights can reach the postseason. A tie by Clarkson and losses or ties by both Rensselaer and St. Lawrence would secure the sixth spot as well. A loss by the Knights, however, guarantees an end to the season for the Green and Gold because Union would leapfrog Clarkson in points. Unlike Clarkson's situation, Union cannot tie and get into the postseason.

The Series: The Golden Knights are only 2-24-4 all-time against Union, but both of those wins have come in the last two seasons, each with finals of 2-1. Emily Davis scored a pair of goals in the final 18 minutes to secure a come-from-behind victory for the Knights last season.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-6-4, 2-3-3 Liberty League): The Knights have six different players with multiple goals in 2024. Sophomore Emma Robinson scored her team-high fifth goal on Tuesday against St. Lawrence, and Chloe Hodge and Brooke Butler are just one behind her with four apiece. Molly DiCaprio posted her 20th career shutout last Saturday against Rensselaer and had 53 saves on the year.

Key Stats for Union (9-5-4, 2-4-2 Liberty League): Similar to Clarkson, the Garnet Chargers have six players with multiple goals this year. Taylor Bovardi leads the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists and Sam Friedman, who tallied Union's goal against Clarkson last season, also has four scores in 2024. Friedman is the main target for the Knights' defense, as she leads the team in shots (33) and shots on goal (18) by wide margins.
