After opening the campaign with a pair of home games this past weekend, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team embarks on a seven-game run of road contests, beginning on Saturday when the team takes on York College of Pennsylvania.

The Series: This will be the first time that the two teams have met in the regular season.

Key Stats for Clarkson (1-1-0): The Golden Knights led for more than half of the game on Sunday against sixth-rated University of Rochester, but the Yellowjackets took advantage of some tired legs to come away with the win. Senior midfielder Emily Davis leads the team in scoring in the early going, having found the back of the net on both of her shots while also adding in an assist. Callie Abel struck for a pair of goals in the opening game as well.

Key Stats for York (2-0-1): The Spartans came up just short of an NCAA Tournament bid a year ago after going 13-7 overall. Meg Kalthof and Alyssa Russell have scored two of the team's three goals in 2024 and have combined for 22 of the team's 46 shots. Kalthof was York's leading scorer a year ago, having tallied 27 points on 11 goals and five assists. Jose Metz has a 0.40 goals against average and .909 save percentage in 225 minutes in 2024.
