For the first (and only) time this spring, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team enjoyed a full week between games, and the Golden Knights hope that extra rest will serve them well in Saturday's Liberty League matchup against University of Rochester.

The Series: The Golden Knights never trailed in last year's contest against Rochester, a 12-9 win against the Yellowjackets. Madelynn Barnum had seven points with six goals and an assist in the victory.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-2, 1-1 Liberty League): While much of the attention on offense goes towards Madelynn Barnum (42 points) and Gabby Cranfield (38 points), who rank first and second in the Liberty League in points per game, the Golden Knights have plenty of depth to help out their league-leading offense (16.13 goals per game). Brooklynne Perrigo has scored 20 points with 18 goals and both Makenna Cassin (14 goals) and Morgan Kenna (13 goals) have already reached double digits in goals scored. Sydney Nakas is also just shy of joining that group with nine goals and nine assists.

Key Stats for Rochester (3-5, 0-3 Liberty League): The Yellowjackets are just a few goals short of being 6-2 and 3-0 in conference, as the team has lost all three of its league contests by a combined four goals. Most of the offense comes from just three players, as Alyssa Gorny, Gracie Giannettino, and Anna Rogers have combined for 64 of the team's 86 goals scored (74.4%). Sy Campbell is one of the league's top defenders with 14 caused turnovers, ranking second in the league in that category per game (1.75). Isla Ablin has been more than capable in the crease for Rochester with a .505 save percentage and 98 total saves.
