An overtime winner for 
Anthony Romano propelled the Knights to an exciting win at Cheel Arena on Saturday to even their record at 2-2.
The Knights were able to grab the lead in the first period when 
Jesse Tucker scored his first as a Golden Knight, at 17:15.  
Ryan Richardson was able to dig a puck out from behind the net and feed across the crease to Tucker who was able to tuck into an open net.
 
The Knights would carry the lead into the intermission. 

 
In the middle frame, UVM was able to tie the game when Isak Walther scored at 12:01.  Clarkson would extend their lead again at 15:47 when 
Ryan Taylor would get his 2nd of the weekend. 
Daimon Gardner lead the 2 on 1 rush and his shot rebounded off the chest protector of the UVM goalie to Taylor who buried for the lead.
 
The Knights kept the lead in the 3rd until Massimo Lombardi evened up the game at 15:32.  
 
In a 3 on 3 overtime, Clarkson would get the initial rush, but Rickwood would lose an edge behind the net giving the Cats a 3 on 2 back the other way, after the Knights stopped the rush, Clarkson was able to get a 3 on 2 where 
Noah Beck fed 
Eric Ciccolini who opted to pass cross crease to a streaking 
Anthony Romano who buried his shot for the overtime win.
 
The Knights out shot the Cats, 31 to 26, with Roden finishing with 24 saves.  Clarkson was 0 for 4 with the power play, while holding the Cats 0 for 3 on the man advantage.  
 
For Gardner it was his 2nd point in as many games and for 
Ryan Taylor, he scored in his second straight game. 
 
Clarkson will travel next weekend to Merrimack for a single game vs the Warriors.
