Men's Hockey

Clarkson hosts Colgate looking to keep pressure on for top spot in ECAC

After a two week  layoff, due to a University pause on activities, the Knights fought back from a 2 goal deficit to pull out a impressive 3-2 win on the road at Colgate.  The regulation win helps the Knights remain in second place.

Today the Knights host the Raiders for the final time of the regular season.  Today's game can be heard on 99.3 FM with Mike Vaillancourt or streamed on ESPN+.

The Knights will have 5 games left this season.  They are 12 points back of Quinnipiac for the league lead.  The Bobcats will face the Raiders two more times.   Clarkson will need a Raider win next weekend along with regulation wins in all 5 games, to catch the Bobcats.  There is little margin for error below them in the standings as both Colgate and St. Lawrence can overtake the Knights with a string of wins.

Anthony Romano scored 2 goals on Friday for his 2nd multi goal game of the season.  Connor McCarthy also lit the lamp for the Knights as they had a big 3rd period to secure the win.  Ethan Haider remains strong in net.  Among rookie goalies in the nation, he is 2nd in minutes played, 2nd in goals against average, and 4th in save percentage.
